Ep. #9 Four is Fun

Ep. #9 Four is Fun

Full disclosure my sweet reader — we were a little tipsy during this episode recording.

Okay, actually about an hour before we hit record! So we hope you can take it for what it is as a super silly dialogue between the four of us over some hoppy IPAs! Don’t worry, we aren’t slurring our words or anything like that, but we were definitely a little more relaxed and ridiculous than usual!

But here’s the thing, since we started Truth Talk Podcast, we’ve been dreaming about an episode with our husbands and we just couldn’t miss this opportunity with the four of us being together in one place like this! We had a ton of fun and deep down we’re hoping this is the first of many husband appearances!

With a few episodes under our belts and many conversations that directly relate to our husbands, we wanted to bring them on for an episode! We opted to let this one roll without any sort of plan except to introduce our guys and help you put a voice to the face when we're chatting about them! Disclosure: we got a little silly over what we're comfortable saying a few too many IPAs but it sure was fun! We hope you think so, too! #truthtalkpodcast #meetourmen

We’re keeping this post pretty short and sweet but wanted to tell you a bit about our weekend and how it came to be! This podcast has been a true blessing in both of our lives and you’ll hear us chat about that a bit on this episode in the fact that we don’t really know if this weekend would have transpired without the show. It’s not like we aren’t close or that we don’t talk regularly… but starting Truth Talk Podcast has strengthened that bond even more so and opened up new adventures. Andrea and her troops came to visit for the Fourth of July weekend and it was one for the books.

We toured Rose Ranch, spent an afternoon in Astoria, biked around town, drank too many IPAs, ate brats over the campfire in our backyard and laughed a lot. And I mean, a lot.

We couldn’t pass up this chance to get Shaun (Emma’s husband) and Heath (Andrea’s husband) behind the mic. We hope you love it as much as we loved recording it!

And as always, we truly need more reviews so if you have just a moment, it would mean the world to us if you could pop on over to iTunes or wherever you listen to your podcasts to leave Truth Talk Podcast a 5* review! Trying to build momentum is hard and we can’t do it without you!

Thank you!
